I was a bit hesitant to purchase but i am very happy that i did. this purchase is a success. no more gross shoveling of poop and i get a notification each time my cat goes, which is a concern in cats (utis). i used to have an old model of this but it broke down after two years. however, the updates make this one much better (magnetic clip for poop bag and the fabric where the sand lays seems sturdier.) i contacted the company because the little flap that it came with is not compatible with my type of litter (mineral) and they offered to send the correct one. so far so good, will update if allowed.
The handling and maintenance are surprisingly straightforward, making it much easier to deal with than traditional litter boxes. What really convinced me is how well my cat has taken to it. Sometimes cats can be hesitant with new litter boxes, especially automated ones, but this one has been a hit. They adapted to it quickly and seem completely comfortable using it, which is crucial for any litter box purchase. The WiFi connectivity and app control are nice modern touches, though the core functionality – quiet operation, easy maintenance, and cat approval – are what make this a worthwhile investment.
Everything was easy to assemble. When I first set it up the cats took a couple of days to get used to it and were spooked. Once they realized that they were safe, it hasn't been an issue. I would recommend having a litter catcher and maybe a step for them to enter and exit. I have one cat who likes to dig and scatters litter all over the place. But once I placed the Step Up in front of the box it resolved 80% of the litter that was thrown.
This product was a game changer for me! I'm so glad I found it on a deal and gave it a shot. Within 24 hours all 3 of my cats had transitioned to the new self clean litter box. The catch pan underneath is very large so it holds a lot. Also it is airtight so there are no lingering odors near the box. I've used it three weeks now and only once had to change the bag in the catch container! Wish I had pulled the trigger sooner. It is a 5 star product.
I love the convenience of this litter box! Easy to set up and the app is very user-friendly!! I would most definitely buy this again and have told several friends about the ease and convenience especially when going away on day trips!!
This is the best thing I've done for myself and my two cats. No more scooping. My cats love clean litter everyday. Worth the price. I don't have to clean that dirty mess anymore. I just have to empty the waste basket when the robot says it's full. Buy one !
With two cats, the old litter box was a constant battle zone. Took the plunge on this auto cleaner and wow – game changer! Both cats figured it out within a day. The best part? Our laundry room floor isn't a litter minefield anymore. Seriously, maybe 1/10th the mess. Litter usage feels half of what we used to pour in the manual box. Odor is mostly contained, especially if we empty the drawer every other day like clockwork. Very quiet, just a soft whirring sound.

We had the spaceship automatic litter box for 2 years but the door would not close tight anymore during the cleaning cycle so I had to order a new one. I like this one better due to the legs and the barrel cleaning
I do like the pad and it is easy to clean and captures most of the tracked litter. I think this is a nice box for the money. The LR4 demands a pretty big space and this one does not. In the end, the goal is to not scoop, not smell, but have peace of mind and this one gives you all of that.
After taking in the last of the stray kittens born under our porch, we decided we needed to upgrade the litter box. Our older cat (8 years old) and our kitten (3 months old) have both taken perfectly to the new box. And the sensitivity of the censors even detect my tiny kitten, which is a definite win! I’d recommend this OVER AND OVER!
Fabulous! This is my 2nd elspet cat litter box and I love it! Switched to this one because I prefer to waste below. It is so quiet and there is no smell. Worth a lot more than what I paid!!!!!!
Waited a long time to try this style of automatic. It’s great if your cat does a clean poop. My previous cat had IBS and i was hesitant to spend the money knowing how messy her flare ups were. Great price point and quality. Setup was easy. He took to it right away but was obsessively watching it clean. He kept restarting it. Or jumping in curious and it would pause. It took a few days for him to lose interest but after a week the novelty wore off! I am amazed how it has reduced stress of keeping the box clean. My cat is about 12 lbs and long/ tall.
This self-cleaning litter box is a great machine. I've been using it for about two weeks, and it has worked flawlessly. So far so good one of the cats was a little hesitant to use it . the little russian blue was hoping to stay in it long enough for it to start cleaning. she also rides the roomba vacuum so it was a challenge for her. the app could be better but it is what it is.
Very fast shipping, fedex 2 days and delivered on sunday! The size is perfect, fit into a closet (the wide is 2 inches smaller than closet door frame! And i have removed the closet door). Let's see if my cat use it, the same place as ordinary cat litter basket :)
The only disappontment is the filter mesh is for 'tofu litter' (type a), i need type b (for bentonite/meneral sand), let's see of it works. Only one type of fliter mesh in the package and seller does not give this option.

Easy to set up! My only concern is my small cat (white, gray,black)Emmie, got a little spooked & I’m trying to get her to use it. I’ve sprayed a bit of cat nip toward the back so she’ll hopefully explore. Max, orange striped, hasn’t had any issues- jumped right in & did his stuff!!🐾

This is the best purchase I made prepping for my adorable little kittens! I have a small apartment without much storage area and while the kittens are adjusting I have to keep the litter box in my kitchen, but... NO SMELL! And I have a VERY sensitive nose! Plus my kitten was really anxious at first, but the machine was so quite and the sensor that makes it pause when he goes to look at it when it's cleaning was really helpful. He still always watches it empty, but now he'll run and jump in it instead of jumping out of it!
This company made it easy to order and responded quickly with my question. I love this litterbox I had a different automatic litterbox but it was complicated and not as easy to clean. And needed to be reset quite often.
